We are looking for a qualified Business Development Manager to join our sales team. You will be responsible for managing our expanding sales team, overseeing the sales process to attract new clients in digital marketing and bespoke software development.

If you’re passionate and experienced in managing teams, building business relationships and spear-heading a technology company’s growth, then this role is perfect for you. We expect you to be highly organised, motivated and results-driven.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the team to:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns into viable sales opportunities
  • Communicate with prospects
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities online
  • Plan/execute marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and generate leads, with a close eye on ROI
  • Develop and manage forecasts; implement strategies to achieve targets.
  • Gain deep understanding of competitor performance & market dynamics

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • At least an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field 
  • 5+ years of work experience in similar role is essential.
  • Expertise in MS Excel (handling data, analysing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to gather requirements and deliver engaging presentations and close deals is essential
  • Ability to produce Work Breakdown Structures is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in Digital Marketing and/or software development is essential
  • Experience of working on platforms eg Upwork, People for Hire is essential
  • Project management skills is a bonus
  • Good teamwork skills is vital
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal is essential
