We are seeking a detail-oriented proposal professional with over two years of experience crafting responses to government or enterprise RFPs. The ideal candidate will possess strong English writing skills and the discernment to identify which bids are worth pursuing. You will manage the entire bid pipeline—from sourcing and qualifying opportunities to submitting complete, compliant proposals on time. Making informed no-bid decisions and authoring proposals for larger deals within the team will also be key parts of your role. You will leverage AI tools to enhance research, drafting, and quality checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in every submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify public-sector and enterprise bids through portals such as SAM.gov and various state procurement sites, aligning opportunities with our products and strategic priorities.
- Prepare and submit thorough, compliant responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Develop compliance matrices and provide clear, comprehensive answers to every requirement.
- Make well-reasoned no-bid decisions when opportunities do not align with company goals, communicating rationale to the team.
- Write proposals for major deals beyond the public-sector bids.
- Analyze outcomes of won and lost bids to continuously improve future submissions.
- Utilize AI assistants like Claude daily for bid research, drafting, compliance verification, and review processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Minimum of two years’ experience responding to government or enterprise RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Familiarity with bid portals such as SAM.gov and state procurement websites.
- Strong attention to detail with precise writing skills, including the ability to create compliance matrices and respond to requirements thoroughly.
- Proven track record of meeting every deadline reliably.
- Sound judgment regarding when to pursue or decline bids.
- Experience automating routine tasks using AI tools, reusable prompts, Claude Projects, AI-assisted workflows, or simple scripting—candidates should be prepared to share examples of automation.
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional workspace (for remote applicants).
- Legal authorization to work in Pakistan.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates who demonstrate exceptional precision, the ability to quickly assess lengthy RFPs for relevance, and clear, evaluator-friendly writing will stand out. Proficiency in using AI tools to increase efficiency without sacrificing accuracy, along with a strong sense of ownership over the bid process, is highly valued.
Compensation includes a monthly salary plus commission. Commission is calculated as 7.5% of revenue received by VIDIZMO on each deal and shared among contributors. On partner deals, the partner retains their margin first. Commissions are paid the month after customer payment, with no cap. Early payments are available for properly completed steps before deal closure. The pay mix at target is approximately 85% salary and 15% commission. Your share includes 30% of commission on every RFP deal won and 5% on other deals where you authored the proposal.
