Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and end-user computers, ensuring continuous availability and high performance.
- Monitor system metrics, conduct preventive maintenance, and swiftly address technical issues to reduce downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Manage comprehensive data backup, disaster recovery strategies, and business continuity plans to safeguard critical organizational information.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, conduct routine vulnerability assessments, security audits, and apply necessary cybersecurity controls to protect against threats.
- Administer user access controls and data protection protocols to ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead IT infrastructure and system implementation projects by developing project plans, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and managing budgets to deliver outcomes on schedule and within financial limits.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather technology requirements, facilitate coordination among departments, and ensure successful deployment of enterprise systems such as ERP and HRMS.
- Support and supervise application upgrades, integration processes, testing phases, and deployment activities to maintain efficient business operations.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, assess technology solutions, and oversee inventory control for IT assets and software licenses.
- Guide technical staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing mentoring and support for skill development despite not carrying formal team management responsibilities.
- Respond promptly to end-user requests via the IT helpdesk, enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution and training materials development.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including policies, standard operating procedures, system configurations, and regulatory reports to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Prepare regular reports detailing IT infrastructure status, security posture, project progress, and compliance metrics for management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices, recommending continual improvements for IT services and infrastructure.
