This role is focused on establishing and maintaining a robust risk identification framework that spans all business lines and jurisdictions within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk priorities and working closely with various business units and functions to identify material risks. They will oversee the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, ensuring it is completed effectively. Additionally, the role involves developing and updating a comprehensive enterprise-wide inventory of existing and potential material risks across the bank. The individual will also initiate corrective actions to address any gaps or deficiencies uncovered during the risk identification process, thereby strengthening the overall risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and manage a comprehensive risk identification framework covering all business lines and jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with business units and other functions to identify material risks and oversee the completion of the RCSA process.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide inventory of existing and potential material risks.
- Initiate and monitor corrective actions to address gaps or deficiencies identified during risk assessments.
- Provide high-quality, insightful reporting to internal Boards, Committees, and key stakeholders to support risk management activities.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management across both business and support functions.
- Review and approve business risk identification procedures and processes to ensure their effectiveness.
- Ensure that risk priorities are addressed through regular testing of policies, procedures, systems, and controls.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial institution, preferably within a banking environment.
- Proven experience in risk management roles, ideally within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or Operational Risk Management (ORM).

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are highly desirable.
