- The main responsibility of this position to look after Development/Innovation area from yarn to dispatch.
- To decide Fabric Parameters in the light of swatch analysis report & bulk data of already developed fabric.
- To monitor DR steps Proceeding in Datatex.
- To confirm fabric, Do ability and to monitor technical data feeding in Datatex.
- Responsible for hanger making of newly developed fabrics and maintain hangers’ inventory.
- Responsible to add seasonal developments in PD Library.
- To attend RAM & Highlight Risk observe during development of a fabric at any process.
- To compile lab test results of development/Innovation and maintain LR swatches inventory within given time frame.
- Fabric Analysis & Report Making:
- To conduct & monitor fabric swatch analysis.
1.Responsible for report making of fabric swatch analysis and forward to S&M team for further proceeding.
2. Decision of Fabric Parameters:To decide on time & accurate fabric parameters keeping in view swatch analysis report & fabric data developed so far. To provide fabric parameters details to team for technical data entry in system.
3. DR (Development Request) Steps Proceeding in Datatex:Responsible for timely & accurate DR steps proceeding relevant with new developments and innovations in Datatex & to monitor technical data feeding in system against each DR.
4. Fabric Do ability Confirmation:Strong Teck Pack reading skills & sound awareness about knits process for confirmation of bulk fabric doability to S&M and IE teams keeping in view required equipment’s availability for bulk.
5. Responsible for New Developments/Innovations:To Monitor new Developments/Innovations from Yarn to Finishing and to monitor hanger making against each newly developed fabric and maintain hangers’ inventory of each development.
6. Compile Lab Test Results & Record Keeping:To get compile Lab Test Results of Bulk PO’s & developments and Monitor record keeping of ecru & finish fabric swatches as a reference.
7. To Attend RAM & Highlight Risk:To Attend RAM (Risk Assessment Meeting) & highlight Risk observe during fabric development at each process from yarn to dispatch of finish fabric.
