Manager Budget / Financial Reporting

As the Manager of Budget & Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of budgeting, financial planning, and reporting within the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial data, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Planning and Management:

Develop and manage the organization's annual budget in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
Monitor budget performance regularly, identify variances, and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Forecast future financial performance based on trends, market analysis, and operational metrics.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.

Process Improvement:

Streamline budgeting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices and tools for financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
Identify areas for improvement in financial controls and internal procedures.

Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts or accounting professionals.
Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to achieving departmental goals.
