Transport Manager

We are seeking a highly responsible and proactive Transport Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our company’s transportation activities. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and an LTV driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the transport team, including drivers and support staff.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate vehicle routes for timely and efficient delivery of services.
Ensure all vehicles are maintained in good working condition and arrange scheduled servicing/repairs.
Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and driver performance to optimise operational efficiency.
Maintain transport-related documentation, logs, and compliance records.
Ensure adherence to company policies, road safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Handle incident reporting and resolve transport-related issues promptly.
Liaise with management for daily reporting and operational updates.
Oversee vehicle inspections and ensure proper documentation of licences and registrations.

Requirements

Must hold a valid LTV driving licence.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in transport operations management (preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and route planning.
Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
