We are fulfilling the need for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join us on our mission. They will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure, deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our needs. Responsibilities include creating and managing local dev environments for our developers using Docker.
- You will build and deploy multiple environments via automated systems using
- AWS services
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that
- Development follows established processes and works as intended
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous
- Development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Skills, Expertise and Qualifications - Requirements:
- Solid understanding of AWS EC2/Elastic Beanstalk infrastructure
- Solid understanding of AWS RDS, S3, SES, Lambda, API Gateway, ELB
- Ability to launch EC2 instances, configure them from scratch and also configure automatic load balancing
- Ability to manage backups and build instances off of backups/disaster recovery
- Understanding of Amazon IAM policies and configurations
- Understanding of Docker and Docker-Compose
- Familiar with Linux OS such as Ubuntu, Fedora, Amazon Linux
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines
- Proficiency in script development and scripting languages
- Solid understanding of PHP and Laravel Framework at least 2 years of experience
DevOps Skills:
- Solid understanding of AWS EC2/Elastic Beanstalk infrastructure
- Solid understanding of AWS RDS, S3, SES
- Ability to launch EC2 instances, configure them from scratch and also configure
- Automatic load balancing
- Ability to manage backups and build instances off of backups/disaster recovery
- Understanding of Amazon IAM policies and configurations
- Understanding of Docker and Docker-Compose
- Familiar with Linux OS such as Ubuntu, Fedora, Amazon Linux
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Travis CI
