One of our client seeking a NOC Engineer to support our client through - out class security and engineering services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong knowledge and ability of resolving server and network related monitoring alerts.
- Strong ability to prioritize alerts and incidents and act according to defined priority matrix.
- Strong ability to resolve anti-virus related issues and threats.
- Ensuring anti-virus is installed on all machines.
- Patch servers and workstations on monthly basis.
- Excellent knowledge of Unix and Windows patching.
- Excellent experience with RMM tools for infrastructure management.
- Inventory management experience using RMM tool is required.
- Network device firmware update.
- Act accordingly to resolve the issues seen through monitoring. If not able to fix, escalate to On Site Engineering Team.
- Excellent knowledge of at least 1 backup technology. Ensuring backups are good at all times. Quarterly backup testing.
- Excellent knowledge of at least 1 DR technology. Ensure Disaster Recovery is good for all customers.
- After hours helpdesk customer support for US customers.
