We are seeking a skilled RPA Developer based in Lahore, Pakistan, to join our engineering team in the healthcare domain. This is a mid-level, onsite position requiring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in UiPath Computer Vision activities applied to real-world automation challenges, particularly within complex healthcare workflows. This role involves transforming manual, repetitive processes into reliable, production-ready automations using a variety of tools including UiPath Computer Vision, browser and desktop automation, APIs, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. You will collaborate closely with operational, clinical, and billing teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions that have a direct impact on patient care and provider revenue.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop automations across four main areas:
- Web automation using Selenium and Playwright to interact with portals, EHR interfaces, payer sites, and third-party systems, handling dynamic DOMs and complex authentication flows.
- Desktop automation leveraging UiPath and similar tools for legacy healthcare desktop applications, including screen-level automation and Citrix environments.
- Design and implement agentic systems based on LangChain agents that make decisions, invoke tools, and chain processes with appropriate guardrails.
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines to retrieve accurate information from clinical documents, policy manuals, payer guidelines, and internal knowledge bases, focusing on chunking, embeddings, and evaluation.

- Own the full automation lifecycle:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and prioritize processes, including identifying tasks that are not worth automating.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain new automations while supporting and improving existing ones.
- Create clear SOPs and documentation to ensure continuity during absences.
- Present demos to internal teams and occasionally to clients.
- Implement robust error handling with retries, alerting, logging, and clear diagnostics.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience building production-grade automations, integrations, or backend systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with UiPath Computer Vision activities such as CV Screen Scope, CV Click, CV Type Into, CV Element Exists, and CV Get Text, especially for applications with dynamic or image-based interfaces.
- Proven ability to automate web, desktop, remote desktop, Citrix, and virtual desktop applications where traditional selectors and DOM-based methods are insufficient.
- Strong UiPath skills including selectors, UI Automation, anchors, fuzzy selectors, image recognition, and OCR.
- Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, EMR/EHR, or other complex desktop applications.
- Practical knowledge of at least one of Selenium, Playwright, or LangChain, with a willingness to learn additional tools.
- Proficiency in Python or strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with a readiness to use Python.
- Understanding of large language model fundamentals such as prompting, embeddings, vector search, context limits, and model limitations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug automations under pressure, including those developed by others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for documentation and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in healthcare-related systems such as EHR/EMR, claims processing, revenue cycle management, prior authorization, HL7/FHIR standards, or HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and monitoring to accelerate delivery.
- Knowledge of vector databases like pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
- Demonstrated success in establishing automation practices where none previously existed.

We value practical skills and proven results over formal education or university background. Our team operates with short feedback cycles and a culture of ownership and accountability. While rapid innovation is encouraged, quality and reliability are paramount given the impact on healthcare services.

Interview Process

- Initial introductory call (30-45 minutes) to assess mutual fit.
- Technical discussion focusing on previous automation projects and problem-solving experiences.
- Practical exercise involving a realistic automation challenge, offered as either a take-home or paired session.
- Final round meeting with the team to discuss scoping and stakeholder engagement.
