Ruby on Rails Developer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js

. In this role, you will work across the entire stack—from developing robust backend RESTful APIs to creating dynamic, modular frontend components. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver maintainable, user-centric features and ensure high software reliability.

Key Responsibilities: Application Development & Architecture

Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
Build reusable, testable, and modular React components to deliver dynamic user experiences.
Implement clean, responsive, and mobile-friendly UI/UX designs.
Design and implement robust RESTful APIs, and integrate external third-party services and APIs as needed.

Code Quality & Performance

Write clean, maintainable, readable, and efficient code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.
Actively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain technical standards and facilitate team knowledge sharing.

Collaboration & Delivery

Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers) to define requirements, design solutions, and release new features.
Communicate technical updates, roadblocks, and timelines clearly with both technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years of commercial hands-on full-stack development experience using Ruby on Rails and React.js .
Frontend Expertise: Solid understanding of modern React concepts, component lifecycles/hooks, state management, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Backend Expertise: Deep understanding of web application architecture, MVC patterns, and RESTful API design with Ruby on Rails.
Database Management: Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git for source control and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, resolving merge conflicts).
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with high attention to code correctness and edge cases.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work productively both independently and in team settings.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., RSpec, Jest, React Testing Library).
Understanding of cloud deployment environments (e.g., AWS, Heroku, or GCP).
