General Duties:
The Instructor/Coach at the Advanced Digital Lab in the Multi Service Center in Peshawar is responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of host community members, covering advanced digital skills such as programming languages, data analysis, and digital marketing. They provide individualized support and technical assistance to participants, monitor progress through assessments, and foster a supportive learning community through collaboration and cultural sensitivity. Additionally, the Instructor/Coach manages lab resources effectively, develops partnerships for further opportunities, maintains accurate records, and addresses conflicts promptly, ensuring a positive and enriching learning experience that empowers participants and promotes social cohesion and economic integration.
Responsibilities and Main Duties:
• Design and develop advanced digital skills curriculum tailored to the needs and skill levels of host community members.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons on topics such as graphic design courses, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing and other relevant digital skills.
• Provide hands-on technical support to participants in using digital tools, software, and hardware effectively.
• Offer individualized assistance to learners who require additional help or guidance in grasping complex digital concepts.
• Regularly assess the progress of participants through assignments, quizzes, and projects. Provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Foster a supportive learning environment by encouraging collaboration, peer learning, and knowledge sharing among participants.
• Manage resources within the digital lab effectively, including equipment, software licenses, and educational materials.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in interactions with host community members, respecting their backgrounds and experiences.
• Collaborate with local organizations, educational institutions, and employers to enhance opportunities for participants, such as internships or job placements.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and feedback. Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and achievements for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on advancements in digital technologies and pedagogical approaches to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.
• Address any conflicts or issues that may arise among participants in a fair and constructive manner, promoting a harmonious learning environment.
• By fulfilling these duties, the Instructor/Coach can contribute to the empowerment and skill development of Afghan refugees and host community members in Peshawar, promoting their integration and economic opportunities.
