As in charge of the overall project monitoring, process monitoring, reporting and evaluation, the incumbent shall be responsible for overseeing the project activities, progress achieved, constraints if any and collect necessary data from various sources.
She will be responsible for providing assistance to the project manager in preparing periodic progress reports. Ensure sharing of information, experiences, improving course of action to improve delivery of services and achieving program objectives.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Ensures compliance with the project performance monitoring plan during project implementation.
2. Conduct regular process monitoring to track project implementation against plans and standards.
3. Carry out result-based monitoring to measure progress against log frame indicators and project outcomes.
4. Leads role in overseeing data collection, storage, analysis (Pivot), and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality and audit-worthy.
5. Suggests appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools and systems that effectively ensure project deliverables and progress.
6. Oversees or coordinates in conducting baseline, midterm, and end-line project surveys and gathering data in a reportable format.
7. Devises quantitative and qualitative indicators that measure the progress of the project.
8. Designs tools to measure the achievements mentioned in the logical framework.
9. Provides timely reports for course correction and for any amendments and modifications in moving towards the right direction.
10. Assists senior management in the development of the M&E Plan for the project, including target setting, regular and annual reporting, database management, baseline and end line survey reports, and develops M&E and/ performance monitoring plans.
11. Works in close liaison with other responsible units of the organization i.e. Policy & research, HID unit, Knowledge management etc.
12. Takes required steps, in close consultation with the Project Manager, to ensure successful implementation of the project.
13. Provides training and mentoring to staff to ensure the implementation of robust M&E systems.
14. Ensure timely entry, consolidation, and verification of data collected from field teams.
15. Prepare analytical reports, data summaries, and evidence-based recommendations for program improvement.
16. Ensures outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with relevant stakeholders.
17. Development of case studies and success stories.
