Safety Officer

Sabir's Poultry Pvt Ltd is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to oversee and strengthen workplace safety protocols. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining effective safety programs aligned with regulatory standards, ensuring the well-being of all employees in the poultry industry environment. This position requires a proactive individual with experience in occupational safety, hazard identification, and workplace safety audits. The Safety Officer will work independently without managing a team, collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of safety across the organization. The Safety Officer is responsible for conducting thorough workplace safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks. The role involves ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards through continuous monitoring, education, and corrective actions. This professional will also be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation of safety activities and facilitating necessary safety training sessions. Holding certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH is essential to meet industry safety standards and to effectively contribute to the company's commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct regular workplace safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Implement and maintain occupational safety programs tailored to the poultry industry.
Monitor adherence to OSHA regulations and update safety practices as required.
Identify workplace hazards and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Develop and deliver safety training and awareness sessions to employees.
Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
Collaborate with different departments to enforce safety policies and procedures consistently.
Assist in the investigation of workplace accidents and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and used correctly by staff.
Stay updated on new safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
