Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced professional having hands-on experience with managing and supervising the accounts payable department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and supervises the accounts payable department
  • Manages functions like maintaining the general ledger and accounts payable
  • Will be in charge of data entry, validation, and processing of various types of invoices like general overhead, subcontractor, and employee travel reimbursements.
  • Will be responsible to manage customers’ accounts and relation.
  • Ensures that the accounts payable and the company’s financial obligations are met efficiently.
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns including HMRC, ATO, IRS, FBR
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversee all payment transactions such as ACH, wires and so on.
  • Keeps track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors.
  • Be active on the customer service front and be quick and accurate with communication.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field CMA, ACCA, CFAP will be preferred
  • Must have substantial ERP AP Module experience
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close out process.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Good presentation and effective communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
