Sail Survey Services is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Lahore. This position requires a minimum of three years of professional experience in the architectural drafting field and specialized knowledge in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with a focus on AutoCAD. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise design drawings, plans, and technical documentation that comply with project specifications and industry standards. This role demands attention to detail, a solid understanding of architectural and civil design principles, and the ability to convert concepts into detailed drawings efficiently.
As an Architectural Draftsman at Sail Survey Services, you will collaborate closely with architects and engineers to support project development by producing accurate and thorough drafts. This in-office position requires proficiency in the latest CAD software tools and the capability to adhere to timelines while maintaining high-quality outcomes. Although this role does not involve team management responsibilities, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth project progress through effective communication and coordination within the project team.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural and civil design drawings using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD.
- Translate conceptual sketches and specifications into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings.
- Modify and update existing architectural plans based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet all technical and regulatory standards.
- Prepare presentation drawings and detailed construction documents for review and approval.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all project documentation and drawings.
- Verify accuracy of drawings by conducting thorough checks and revisions as necessary.
- Support the architectural team in various phases of project development, including planning, design, and construction.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
