The role focuses on managing escalated security alerts, investigating incidents, and conducting vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with organizational security standards while mitigating risks. This position plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of security operations and supporting the organization’s overall risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitoring and Incident Detection: Manage escalated alerts and prevent potential intrusions originating from third-party agents. Analyze log correlations to verify adherence to security policies and standards.

- Incident Handling and Analysis: Triage and respond to security incidents, including escalated cases. Assist in root cause analysis and prepare detailed reports that comply with regulatory and organizational requirements.

- Threat Assessment and Analytics: Conduct vulnerability scans, monitor threat intelligence feeds, and recommend preventive strategies to minimize exposure to security threats.

- Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance: Collaborate with internal teams on security-related matters, maintain risk registers, and provide support during compliance audits to ensure organizational readiness.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in security operations or a related field.

- Hands-on expertise with SailPoint IdentityIQ, demonstrating the ability to manage identity governance and administration effectively.

- Strong analytical skills to investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.

- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and threat intelligence platforms.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and assist in audit processes.
