We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Associate (SDA) to convert inbound interest and outbound prospecting into qualified meetings for our sales team. This role requires quick responses to inquiries, proactive engagement with target prospects, and a clear understanding of their needs to effectively communicate the value of our solutions. Success is measured by the quality and volume of qualified meetings, responsiveness to new leads, consistent prospecting efforts, and accurate CRM management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, demo requests, marketing-generated leads, and assigned prospects.
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved channels.
- Proactively prospect within assigned target accounts to identify decision-makers and influencers.
- Research accounts and contacts to personalize outreach and understand business needs.
- Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect challenges, current processes, and fit for our solutions.
- Clearly communicate the product value proposition and develop a strong understanding of company products, target markets, and buyer personas.
- Qualify prospects based on need, fit, urgency, decision-making process, and next steps.
- Handle initial objections professionally and maintain follow-up cadences until a clear outcome is reached.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives or sales team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of prospect activity, qualification notes, meeting outcomes, and next steps in the CRM.
- Meet KPIs related to speed-to-lead, outreach activity, contact rate, qualified meetings booked, meeting show rate, and accepted opportunities.
- Share recurring customer objections, market feedback, and lead-quality insights with Sales and Marketing teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, business development, customer service, or other customer-facing roles. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in sales are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence speaking to prospective customers by phone.
- Basic knowledge of prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, lead qualification, follow-up, and appointment setting.
- Ability to quickly learn product information and explain it clearly and relevantly.
- Resilient, self-motivated, organized, and open to coaching.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to work during US Eastern Time hours.
