Sales Development Representative

Sharknits Manufacturing is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a key point of contact for customers, you will manage the entire sales process from initial engagement through order confirmation and handoff to production. Sharknits is a custom apparel manufacturer with offices in the United States and manufacturing facilities in Lahore and Sialkot, Pakistan, along with partner facilities in China. Since 2019, we have produced over 15 million pieces for more than 500 customers across 25 countries, specializing in streetwear, uniforms, and custom apparel.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage and follow up with leads to maintain interest and move potential customers through the sales pipeline.
- Qualify leads, finalize order details, and book confirmed orders efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to obtain accurate quotes and relay them promptly to customers.
- Coordinate between merchandising and design teams to ensure seamless communication and accuracy from quote to product.
- Finalize all order details and tech packs, ensuring all assets are vectorized and production-ready.
- Collect payments and nurture customer relationships by addressing concerns and providing ongoing support.
- Perform design tasks as needed, leveraging AI tools to streamline processes and enhance output quality.

Required Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills in English, as most customer interactions occur via email with US-based clients.
- Proficiency and confidence in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, AI image generation, and tech pack creation to accelerate workflows and systematize tasks.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to independently manage and drive your sales pipeline after initial training.
- Versatility to handle a mix of sales, customer service, coordination, and design responsibilities within the same day.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn the fundamentals of apparel manufacturing, including quotations and tech pack preparation.
- Highly organized with consistent follow-up discipline to ensure leads remain active and engaged.
- Systems thinker who can identify inefficiencies and implement clear, effective processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Structured onboarding and training during the first three months, including close mentorship in the first week and detailed instruction on quotations and processes in the second week.
- Commission-based earnings starting from day one, with the opportunity to earn on orders booked immediately.
- Competitive compensation package: a base salary of PKR 55,000 per month during probation, increasing to PKR 65,000 after successful completion.
- Commission of 1% on every booked and qualified order from the start, rising to 1.5% after probation based on performance.
