We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer – Aftermarket CTS to join our team. This role focuses on driving profitable growth through both direct and indirect sales of aftermarket parts, service solutions, and contracts. Key Responsibilities
Direct Aftermarket Sales:
Lead direct sales activities for aftermarket spare parts, service solutions, overhauls, and service contracts within the CTS product portfolio. Understand customer needs and provide value-based solutions that enhance equipment reliability and reduce lifecycle costs. Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets, margins, and growth objectives aligned with company strategy.
Distributor & Channel Management:
Oversee and develop indirect sales channels through distributors, ensuring their alignment with Atlas Copco’s commercial goals and standards. Provide training and support to distributor sales teams on aftermarket products, pricing, and value selling techniques. Monitor distributor performance, sales pipelines, and market coverage, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, focusing on service excellence and building trust. Act as the primary contact for aftermarket sales inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses. Collaborate closely with service, operations, and logistics teams to ensure prompt delivery and resolution of customer issues.
Service Quality & Responsiveness:
Contribute actively to improving service quality, response times, and overall customer satisfaction. Ensure diligent follow-up on quotations, orders, service execution, and customer feedback. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to aftermarket processes and customer experience.
Market & Business Development:
Identify new aftermarket business opportunities, including contract conversions and increasing penetration of the installed base. Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends with management. Promote Atlas Copco’s aftermarket value proposition and best practices within the market.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should have 3 to 6 years of experience in aftermarket sales, service sales, or industrial equipment sales. Proven success in direct customer sales and distributor/channel management is essential. Experience with compressors, industrial equipment, or capital goods aftermarket is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills are necessary. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and service teams, is critical. A customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service quality and responsiveness is expected. Candidates should demonstrate commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and a results-driven approach. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are required. The role demands the ability to work independently, travel as needed, and operate effectively within a matrix organization.
