SALES & PROCUREMENT MANAGER – STEEL PROJECTS

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Procurement Manager to oversee the commercial and procurement activities for steel structure, PEB, fabrication, and industrial projects. This role involves preparing and coordinating quotations, converting approved quotations into Sales Orders, managing Purchase Orders, and ensuring timely procurement and approval of materials. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage quotations, costing, and commercial proposals based on client RFQs, BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to finalize quotations and convert approved quotations into Sales Orders.
- Prepare and manage Sales Orders, ensuring accuracy in scope, quantities, specifications, pricing, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate procurement activities based on approved Sales Orders and project material needs.
- Source suppliers, obtain and compare quotations, negotiate rates and terms, and prepare Purchase Orders.
- Manage Purchase Orders to ensure alignment with approved requirements, specifications, quantities, rates, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate Material Submittals with Engineering, QA/QC, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely submission and approval.
- Follow up on supplier orders, material availability, approvals, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Material Submittals, and procurement status within the ERP system.
- Provide regular updates on quotation status, order conversion, procurement progress, and pending actions.
- Track Material Submittal status and coordinate with relevant departments and suppliers to address comments, revisions, and approval requirements.
- Ensure that approved materials comply with Sales Orders, project specifications, drawings, and client requirements before procurement and delivery.
- Monitor material availability, procurement progress, dispatch, and delivery in line with project schedules.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Estimation, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Production, and Project teams to ensure seamless order execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Procurement, Commercial Operations, or Order Execution.
- Proven experience in steel structures, PEB, fabrication, construction, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in quotation preparation, costing, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and procurement coordination.
- Practical knowledge of Material Submittals, technical documentation, and approval processes.
- Ability to interpret BOQs, structural drawings, specifications, material requirements, and weight-based pricing.
- Solid understanding of supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, and procurement follow-up.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills with clients, suppliers, Engineering, QA/QC, Production, and Project teams.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; experience with Odoo is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gujranwala, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make informed decisions under time constraints.
