As a Waste Collector at the Ministère des Transports terrestres et aériens du Sénégal, you will be responsible for the daily collection, sorting, and proper disposal of waste within urban areas. Working as part of a team, you will operate waste disposal vehicles and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of public spaces, streets, and facilities. This full-time position is based exclusively on-site in the Karachi Division. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and dispose of waste efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate and maintain waste disposal vehicles and related equipment.
- Support the cleaning and upkeep of public areas, including streets and municipal facilities.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and hygiene protocols during all operations.
- Identify and report potential hazards or irregularities to supervisors or relevant departments.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve operational goals.

Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and willingness to participate in training sessions to enhance safe waste handling knowledge.
- Basic understanding of sanitation, hygiene practices, and occupational safety, especially regarding the handling of potentially hazardous materials.
- Physical fitness and resilience to perform labor-intensive tasks, including working in shifts and under varying weather conditions.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to organize work efficiently under supervision.
- Basic literacy skills to read and write, enabling accurate reporting and documentation.
- Respectful attitude towards the public and ability to work cooperatively within a team.
