The role focuses on configuring and maintaining software and technological components for projects delivered to Wipro clients. This position requires close collaboration with business units and stakeholders to ensure that application configurations meet client requirements and support ongoing system enhancements. The individual will be responsible for managing configuration tasks, supporting system analysis and testing, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in configuring applications based on client specifications and business needs.
- Gather configuration requirements from various functions, business units, and service lines, securing approvals from business owners.
- Plan and execute configuration tasks within agreed deadlines to support project timelines.
- Provide ongoing system configuration support to accommodate changing business demands.
- Participate in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities to ensure quality deliverables.
- Support the development, implementation, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades.
- Maintain and manage the configuration archive, ensuring its accuracy and currency.
- Ensure 100% compliance with configuration standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Modify existing configuration processes as needed to meet client demands, maintaining detailed logs and documentation.
- Analyze and resolve configuration-related issues promptly to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Manage Management Information Systems (MIS), reporting, and backend support functions.
- Prepare daily and monthly status reports on configuration parameters for clients and stakeholders.
- Deliver timely issue resolution for any client-requested modifications or changes.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software configuration and system support.
- Strong expertise in SAP HANA Cloud Platform is mandatory.
- Proven ability to manage configuration tasks and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in system analysis, design, development, testing, and patch management.
- Demonstrated commitment to adhering to configuration standards and maintaining detailed documentation.
