This role is designed to support the SAP ERP function by enabling data modeling, integration, and analytics activities across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate datasets, supporting the development and upkeep of dashboards, and ensuring data readiness to facilitate effective business decision-making. The position requires collaboration with various teams to optimize data processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of SAP-related operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud, including the creation and maintenance of data models, views, and mappings.
- Assist in the integration of data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy within the SAP environment.
- Maintain and update datasets to support business intelligence tools and dashboards, ensuring timely and reliable information is available for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Monitor data quality and implement improvements to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Support the automation of data workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues within the SAP ERP system.
- Document data models, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with SAP ERP systems, particularly in data modeling, integration, or analytics roles.
- Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud or similar SAP data management platforms.
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts and experience creating views and mappings within SAP environments.
- Solid knowledge of data integration techniques and tools relevant to SAP systems.
- Experience supporting dashboards and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
