SAP S/4HANA Migration Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Migration Consultant to join a multi-site ERP migration project on a fractional basis. This role involves overseeing the migration of two distinct sites: one transitioning from SAP Business One (SAP B1) to SAP S/4HANA, and the other moving from Sage to SAP S/4HANA. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and coordinated migration process across both locations, working closely with various stakeholders to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all SAP S/4HANA migration activities across the two sites, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables. Manage the migration process for the site moving from SAP Business One to SAP S/4HANA, as well as the site transitioning from Sage to SAP S/4HANA. Oversee project planning, including scheduling, tracking dependencies, and managing risks and issues that may impact progress.

Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, SAP consultants, and implementation partners to facilitate clear communication and smooth execution. Support key migration phases such as requirements gathering, migration planning, testing, data migration, and deployment. Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring timely resolution of any migration-related issues.

Assist with cutover and go-live planning, providing guidance and coordination to minimize disruption during the transition. Deliver regular project updates to stakeholders and escalate risks or blockers as necessary to maintain project momentum.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects is essential. Proven ability to manage or support ERP migration or conversion initiatives, with hands-on or project-level experience specifically involving SAP Business One and/or Sage migrations. A strong understanding of ERP migration processes, including data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities, is required.

Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills are necessary to navigate complex project environments. Strong communication and organizational abilities will enable effective collaboration across diverse teams. The candidate must be capable of working independently within a fractional or part-time engagement model.
