We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Migration Consultant to support a multi-site ERP migration project on a fractional basis. This role involves overseeing the migration of two distinct sites to SAP S/4HANA—one transitioning from SAP Business One (SAP B1) and the other from Sage. The consultant will play a critical role in coordinating migration activities, ensuring smooth execution, and aligning technical and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate SAP S/4HANA migration efforts across multiple locations. Manage the migration process for one site moving from SAP Business One to SAP S/4HANA and another site migrating from Sage to SAP S/4HANA. Oversee project activities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to maintain progress and quality. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, SAP consultants, and implementation partners to ensure alignment and effective communication. Support requirements gathering, migration planning, testing, data migration, and final deployment phases. Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing timely updates and escalating blockers as necessary. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any migration-related challenges. Facilitate cutover and go-live planning to ensure a seamless transition. Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the engagement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage or support ERP migration and conversion initiatives. Hands-on or project-level experience with migrations involving SAP Business One and/or Sage is required. Strong understanding of ERP migration processes, including data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities. Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills are critical to success. Effective communication and organizational abilities are necessary to work with diverse teams and manage complex project demands.
