We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the health, quality, and yield of our corn silage crops as well as packaging and loading of silage crops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field inspections to evaluate the growth, development, and overall health of corn silage crops.
- Identify and diagnose any issues related to pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Collect and analyze soil and plant samples to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Document and report findings, providing recommendations for improvements and interventions.
- Collaborate with farm managers and agronomists to implement best practices for crop management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Management or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel tovarious field locations.
