Remote AI/ML Internship (Python/NLP) – Flexible Hours – PKR 40k–60k/month – Startup Opportunity

We’re a small, founder-led startup seeking a motivated computer science or machine learning undergraduate or current postgraduate for a near full-time, remote internship and training role (7–8 hours/day, 9am–4pm). This is ideal for those who need flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.

The goal is to transition to a full-time position after graduation.

About the Role (Remote):

You’ll work closely with the founders (AI/ML and full stack developers) to:

Build pipelines to ingest and structure documents
Apply NLP techniques to split text into sections
Integrate ML/LLM models for text extraction and prompt design
Assist in creating workflows for human-in-the-loop reviews
Generate hashes for change detection

This is a hands-on, remote role where you’ll help turn raw content into actionable information. Strong Python skills, and academic assignments or projects involving data parsing (PDF/HTML), and an interest in machine learning/NLP are essential.

Why this role?

Our full stack developer/solution architect will be going on maternity leave in about seven months but will continue to provide guidance and support remotely. We’re looking for someone who can assist and gradually take on more responsibility.

Compensation:

PKR 40,000/month for the first three months (internship period)
PKR 60,000/month for the following nine months (training period)
After one year and completion of your postgraduation, remuneration will be reviewed based on the startup’s progress and your contributions

Requirements:

Computer science or machine learning undergraduate or current postgraduate (preferred)
Academic coursework or assignments in AI/ML
Strong Python skills
Experience with data parsing (PDF/HTML) in projects or assignments
Interest in NLP and machine learning
