- Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes.
- Maintain an awareness of customer requirements and any complaints to identify any areas that may need development or improvement.
- Assist in developing and modifying chemical processes to ensure that products are of the appropriate quality and produced within the established cost limits.
- Monitor chemical processes to resolve any problems.
- Undertake studies and trials of chemicals and instruments to improve production processes, unit costs, quality and safety.
- Establish safety procedures for those working with dangerous chemicals.
- Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulation.
- A degree of B.Sc./M.Sc. in chemical engineering from reputable university; minimum experience at least 10 years’ in process industry with specially pesticides formulation experience preferred; with problem-solving skills; good communication skills; project management skills
