Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser with a strong NGO background to lead fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing fundraising strategies, identifying funding opportunities, building strong donor relationships, preparing grant proposals, and securing sustainable financial and non-financial support for the organization.

The role requires strong experience in donor management, proposal development, resource mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising strategy execution.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Identify potential donors, funding partners, sponsors, grant opportunities, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
Research local and international funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and projects.
Prepare compelling fundraising proposals, concept notes, grant applications, donor presentations, and sponsorship packages.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing donors, prospective supporters, corporate partners, and funding agencies.
Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve short-term and long-term financial targets.
Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, donor meetings, events, appeals, and community engagement initiatives.
Coordinate with program and finance teams to prepare project budgets, impact reports, and supporting documentation.
Maintain an updated donor database and track proposals, commitments, payments, follow-ups, and reporting deadlines.
Prepare regular fundraising reports and provide updates on donor engagement, funding pipelines, and campaign performance.
Ensure timely submission of donor reports and compliance with grant conditions, agreements, and reporting requirements.
Develop donor communication materials, success stories, impact updates, newsletters, and acknowledgment messages.
Identify opportunities for financial and non-financial support, including equipment, services, partnerships, and volunteer contributions.
Represent the organization in meetings, networking events, conferences, and donor engagement activities.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience & Requirements
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the NGO sector.
Strong experience in fundraising, resource mobilization, donor engagement, and grant development.
Proven ability to prepare grant proposals, concept notes, sponsorship packages, and donor presentations.
Strong understanding of donor reporting, grant compliance, and funding requirements.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with donors, corporate partners, sponsors, and funding agencies.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple funding opportunities, deadlines, and donor relationships effectively.
Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
