Scaleup Connect is hiring on behalf of its client for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer responsible for managing mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting smooth production operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in industrial machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, utilities management, and technical team coordination.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and support industrial production equipment including injection molding, assembly, blister packing, and printing machines.
- Handle facility utility systems including HVAC, chillers, air compressors, pumps, and electrical distribution systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose recurring equipment faults and implement corrective actions.
- Support machinery installation, commissioning, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with technicians and maintenance teams for effective execution of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and equipment history documentation.
We are looking for candidates with 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance with strong exposure to mechanical and electrical systems, production machinery, utilities, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in motors, sensors, pneumatics, basic automation, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability improvement. Candidates with experience in Plastics, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.
A DAE, B.Tech, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
