Science & Biology Teacher

The Orchid School – PECHS Chapter, located near Ambala Bakery in PECHS Block 06, Karachi, is seeking a qualified and experienced Science & Biology Teacher for the Secondary Years. The school follows the Cambridge Education System and is committed to providing high-quality education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Biology or Science and possess the skills necessary to engage students effectively while adhering to the Cambridge curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Science and Biology lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress regularly.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
- Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations.
- Participate actively in academic and school-related activities to support the overall educational experience.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Science, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching experience at the Secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge coupled with effective classroom management skills.
- Good command of English communication, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching under the Cambridge/IGCSE system is highly desirable.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that foster critical thinking and curiosity.
