Scrum Master

Elite IT Team is seeking a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for our cross-functional development teams. This part-time remote role involves more than just coordinating meetings—you will actively coach teams, collaborate closely with Product Owners and technical leads, and use data-driven insights to enhance delivery speed and predictability. The position requires strong Agile expertise, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to foster transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across projects. While the role is primarily remote, the selected candidate must attend 2–3 in-person company gatherings annually, with all related expenses covered by Elite IT Team.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leads to define, prioritize, and manage sprint goals and backlog items effectively.
- Promote Agile best practices and coach team members to improve delivery efficiency, team collaboration, and overall Agile maturity.
- Monitor and analyze key Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, and throughput to track performance and support forecasting.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, progress updates, and risk management.
- Support multiple teams in adopting and evolving Agile principles and frameworks across the organization.

Required Qualifications

- Between 1 to 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead, preferably within software or product development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile delivery and manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed and remote teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
