ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Software Quality Assurance/ Test Engineer is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of testing requirements after reviewing the requirement specification and software design specification documents.
- Prepare, execute and monitor test plans.
- Create test cases for functional, integration and performance testing as per required specifications.
- Review and consolidate test specifications.
- Prepare functional test reports.
- Handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering and/or the relevant field. § 5+ years’ experience required.
- Programming background with C#.
- Knowledge or experience of automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server with basic SQL skills.
- Knowledge in TFS, Postman, Jmeter.
- Experience of working on high-traffic and large-scale Software products.
- Knowledge of iPhone, android, and Web-based testing.
- Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in QA and Software Testing processes.
- Capable to perform efficiently in stress-full conditions.
- Effectively attain goals in designated dead-lines and time constraints.
- Ability to take charge and complete work independently.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Work experience in traditional and agile based teams is preferable.
- Performance testing experience in JMeter including API testing.
- Testing discipline knowledge like ISTQB etc.
- Well organized, possess oriented, outstanding follow-through and attention to detail.
- Independent, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, multitasking, analytical skills
