•         Reporting to Group Accountant and Directors

•         Responsible for all accounting operations of the company

•         Ensure compliance with construction and finance controls

•         Prepare summaries of contract key terms

•         Monitoring project costs to ensure they are aligned with budgets

•         Accumulate support and compile quarterly project accruals for supervisory review

•         Report monthly project spend to Senior Management. Making reports and investigate variances between actual and estimated costs

•         Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookups, formulas, etc)

•         Communicate routinely with Project Managers on a variety of job related topics including bonding, insurance and contract agreements.

•         Participate in the formation and implementation of company financial plans

•         Preparation of all monthly financial reports

•         Work with outside accounting/financial firms on taxation and legal procedures

•         Provide reporting and budgeting as required by Senior Management.

•         Manage company and project cash flow

•         Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable.

•         Bank reconciliations

•         Maintaining and reviewing accounting files

•         Issuing invoices and purchase orders, as well as paying consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and supplier bills.

•         Creating and submitting government reports and tax returns related to the project following all appropriate guidelines.

•         Work with project management staff ensuring proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reporting every 10 days, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually.

•         Develop written accounting documents/ forms/ procedures for the operations staff and work with team to ensure proper implementation and compliance.

•         Creating new accounting/operations procedures to prepare and manage rapidly growing entity and the evolving business structure.

•         Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including banks, title companies, etc. that will support and grow the business.

•         Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.

•         3 to 5 years of accounting experience

•         2 years of experience in managing accounts in construction or related industry

•         Yardi experience is a plus, but not required
