Section Lead- Lifestyle

SOUQ is looking for a motivated and results-driven Section Lead – Lifestyle to manage the daily operations of the Lifestyle section at our F-6 Markaz store in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will bring experience in retail operations, sales management, merchandising, and inventory control, combined with strong leadership and customer service skills. This role focuses on driving sales performance, maintaining attractive product displays, ensuring product availability, and delivering an excellent shopping experience to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Section Management: Oversee daily operations of the Lifestyle section, ensuring adherence to store policies and operational standards.

Sales Performance: Meet sales targets by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies to boost sales and profitability.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate section staff to provide outstanding customer service and meet departmental goals.

Customer Service: Assist customers with product selection, handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about lifestyle product categories, customer preferences, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Visual Merchandising: Maintain appealing product displays, organize shelf arrangements, ensure proper product placement, and accurate pricing.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, conduct stock checks, and minimize discrepancies, damages, and losses.

Product Presentation: Ensure products are clean, properly labeled, well-organized, and displayed according to store standards.

Promotions and Campaigns: Support seasonal promotions, special offers, product launches, and other sales initiatives.

Reporting and Analysis: Track sales, inventory movement, and section performance, providing regular updates to store management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year experience in retail operations, lifestyle products, department stores, or FMCG retail preferred.

- Experience supervising a retail team or managing a product section is advantageous.

- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and analyze basic sales and inventory reports.

- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Excel is a plus.

- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

- Customer-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of retail merchandising and product presentation.

- Willingness to work flexible retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
