Qualification
- MBA/MS/BBA in a Business Discipline (Supply Chain Management, Operations, etc.)
- 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain with focused on large fleet operations
Skills / Expertise
- Capable of managing large commercial fleet involving operations and maintenance staff located in multiple locations
- Adept in fleet operations planning and execution including optimal vehicle deployment and maintenance to achieve assigned Operational KPI’s and begetting targets
- Know-how of industry wide issues affecting the Operational cost and capable of mitigating such risks to maximize yield and margins
- Capable of achieving assigned budgetary targets and servicing the clients’ portfolio in terms of all sales/operations matters
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Responsibilities
- While reporting to the CEO SLG, the COO will be responsible for:
- Complete operational, administrative, financial and maintenance matters of logistic business of SLG, to include long-haul & distribution/short-haul transportation segments
- Ensuring reliable fleet operational at all the times
- Ensuring statutory compliances concerning, health & safety, legislation, conducting risk assessments, monitoring performance & reviewing procedures
- Managing all existing clients
- Leading logistics business’s country-wide business development
