Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and architecture by evaluating business strategies and conducting vulnerability and risk assessments. Identify risks related to business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects. Monitor emerging security threats and design architectural elements to mitigate these risks effectively. Recognize security design gaps in existing and proposed systems, recommending necessary enhancements.

Conduct product best-fit analyses to ensure comprehensive security coverage across various architectural facets, including layered security, zoning, integration, API security, endpoint protection, data security, and compliance with regulations. Perform security assessments aligned with frameworks such as NIST, SANS, and CIS. Provide technical support during the deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies.

Apply ITIL or similar process-oriented frameworks in domains like incident, configuration, change, and problem management. Assist in disaster recovery efforts following security breaches, attacks, or unauthorized activities. Develop responses to client RFPs, ensuring design assurance and alignment with business objectives.

Lead the management of cybersecurity portfolios encompassing systems, shared infrastructure, applications, and hardware to align with business outcomes. Analyze technology environments and client requirements to establish collaborative design frameworks. Create comprehensive RFPs tailored to client standards and technology stacks. Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using modern technologies.

Evaluate current state solutions, identify improvements, and define target state architectures. Clearly communicate architectural goals, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps. Recommend solutions that integrate with the broader technology ecosystem. Stay informed on industry trends to anticipate and plan for future IT needs.

Coordinate with stakeholders on cybersecurity matters, offering timely support and recommendations. Maintain information security risk registers and assist with internal and external audits. Support the implementation of security best practices to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training to employees and customers, including guidance on handling spam and malicious emails.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and risk management.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security architectures.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, SANS, and CIS.
- Experience with ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to conduct security assessments and support disaster recovery efforts.
- Skilled in responding to RFPs and providing technical leadership in solution design.
- Familiarity with layered security models, API security, endpoint protection, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination and audit support related to information security.
