Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and architecture by evaluating business strategies and conducting vulnerability and risk analyses. Identify risks related to business processes, operations, information security programs, and technology projects. Monitor and communicate emerging security threats, designing architecture elements to mitigate these risks effectively. Detect security design gaps in existing and proposed systems and recommend necessary enhancements.

Conduct product best-fit analyses to ensure comprehensive security coverage across multiple architecture facets, including layered security, zoning, integration, API security, endpoint protection, data security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Perform security assessments aligned with frameworks such as NIST, SANS, and CIS. Provide technical support during deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies.

Demonstrate expertise in ITIL or other key process domains like incident, configuration, change, and problem management. Assist in disaster recovery efforts following security breaches, attacks, or unauthorized activities. Lead solution development for client Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring design assurance and alignment with business objectives.

Develop strategic direction for managing portfolios of cyber risk security solutions, including systems, shared infrastructure services, applications, and hardware. Analyze technology environments and client requirements to establish collaborative design frameworks and architectures. Create comprehensive RFPs tailored to client standards and technology stacks. Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions leveraging modern technologies.

Evaluate current state solutions, identify improvements, and define target state architectures. Articulate architectural recommendations, reusable patterns, and investment roadmaps clearly to stakeholders. Recommend integration solutions that align with the overall technology ecosystem. Stay informed on industry and application trends to anticipate and plan for future IT needs.

Coordinate with stakeholders on cybersecurity issues, providing timely support and recommendations. Maintain information security risk registers and assist with internal and external audits related to information security. Support audits of security best practices and ensure implementation of security principles to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training for team members and customers, including education on spam and malicious email threats.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and risk management.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing enterprise security architectures.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, SANS, CIS.
- Experience with ITIL or similar process-oriented domains including incident, change, and problem management.
- Ability to conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Skilled in disaster recovery planning and response.
- Experience in preparing and responding to client RFPs with a focus on security solutions.
- Technical leadership capabilities in developing and deploying custom cybersecurity solutions.
- Familiarity with layered security models, API security, endpoint protection, data security, and regulatory compliance.
