Role Description The Seed Diagnostic Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Faisalabad. This position is responsible for evaluating seed quality through laboratory and field-based diagnostic tests, including germination, purity, and vigor assessments.

The Seed Diagnostic Officer will document test results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating sample collection, monitoring trial plots, identifying seed-borne issues, and collaborating with agronomy, quality assurance, and marketing teams to provide technical insights. The role also involves supporting farmers and internal staff with seed performance information, contributing to continuous improvement of seed products and diagnostic practices. Qualifications

Strong knowledge of seed science, agronomy, or plant pathology, with the ability to perform seed quality and diagnostic tests.
Experience in laboratory procedures, data recording, and the use of basic diagnostic equipment and tools.
Ability to conduct field evaluations, monitor trials, and assess seed performance under varying climatic and soil conditions.
Competence in collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical data, with clear report writing and documentation skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with farmers, field staff, and cross-functional internal teams.
Strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) for data management and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Seed Technology, Plant Sciences, or a related field; relevant professional experience in seed or agri-inputs is an advantage.
