Head of Department – Accounts & Finance | FAISALABAD Based

Selecto Retail is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Department for Accounts & Finance to lead its financial operations at the Faisalabad location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance activities, ensuring adherence to financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and internal controls. This role involves directing budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, cash flow management, and financial reporting to support sustainable business growth. The position requires a strong leader capable of managing a team of five professionals while collaborating with auditing firms, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities to deliver accurate financial outcomes and compliance. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire Accounts and Finance department, including a team of five professionals, to ensure effective financial operations.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial strategies, policies, procedures, and internal controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
Oversee preparation and analysis of financial accounting, management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and all financial transactions promptly and accurately.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities to ensure timely audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
Monitor compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and corporate policies to mitigate financial risks.
Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial reports and statements for senior management and stakeholders.
Support other departments by providing relevant financial insights and collaborating to achieve overall business goals.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improving profitability and driving cost efficiencies.
Ensure the use and optimization of ERP and accounting systems to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to team members to develop their skills and improve departmental performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the finance function to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
