SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – BANKING & ACCOUNTS

A well-established organization in Karachi is seeking an experienced accounting professional with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in banking and accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash flow management, financial reporting, and hands-on expertise in bank reconciliations, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented individual with solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures, capable of preparing accurate financial statements and management reports. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is essential, along with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The role demands working on-site to ensure close collaboration with the finance team and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all banking and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and monitor payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow statements and financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Utilize MS Excel and accounting software to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial controls.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a strong focus on banking and accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven expertise in cash flow management and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation, payments, receipts, and handling financial transactions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software applications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
