Senior Accountant – UK Accounts

Aspire Accounts is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our expanding team based in Peshawar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with UK clients, a strong command of Xero accounting software, and a solid understanding of UK accounting standards and processes. This role requires someone who can efficiently manage multiple clients, meet deadlines, and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records for UK-based clients.
- Prepare year-end and final accounts in compliance with UK accounting standards.
- Manage VAT, Payroll, and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) processes effectively.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports and tax returns.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and rectify discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience in UK bookkeeping and accounting.
- Proven expertise in using Xero accounting software for day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK VAT regulations, Payroll, and CIS requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work onsite in Peshawar with immediate or committed availability.
