Senior Accountant

We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant based in Islamabad, Pakistan, to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing landed costing related to imported machinery and spare parts, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, performing reconciliations, analyzing profitability, overseeing cash flow, and preparing comprehensive financial reports. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting skills and experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage landed costing processes for imported machinery and spare parts to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Conduct regular inventory valuation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Analyze profitability to support business decision-making.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for efficient financial management.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
