Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to oversee the daily financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role demands strong organizational abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to support financial planning and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain comprehensive books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor income, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow to maintain financial health.
- Prepare and review bank and cash reconciliations regularly.
- Oversee student fee collections, refunds, outstanding payments, and maintain related documentation.
- Maintain and reconcile branch-wise financial records and accounts.
- Generate invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other necessary accounting documents.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and manage accounts receivable efficiently.
- Process vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Assist in payroll preparation and manage employee-related financial transactions.
- Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of petty cash transactions.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external parties as required.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and financial issues promptly.
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company and financial information.
- Provide financial analysis support to management to aid in strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with responsibility for managing financial records and reports.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing bank reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash management.
- Ability to coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 150,000.
