Senior Accountant

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of our financial records, while strengthening internal controls related to our real estate development projects. This role is based in Gulberg III, Lahore, with regular visits to our construction site on Raiwind Road.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions, including BPVs, CPVs, BRVs, and JVs, ensuring they are posted to the correct accounts and projects.
- Prepare payments in accordance with approved payment plans, verifying that all necessary documentation is complete and authorized before processing.
- Keep sales, recoveries, and receivables records current and reconcile them with the accounting system and bank receipts.
- Collect and manage information related to bookings, fards, and registries, providing support to the legal team and management on property transactions.
- Coordinate with the site team to ensure all site transactions comply with internal protocols and are supported by proper documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly expense and payment reports for management review.
- Assist with quarterly, biannual, and annual financial closings, including bank reconciliations and communication with banking institutions.
- Maintain tax documentation and manage the digital filing system while upholding accounting procedures and internal controls.

Required Qualifications

- A degree in M.Com, B.Com, or BBA (Finance).
- Eight to ten years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, property development, project, or construction accounting.
- Hands-on experience with bookkeeping and voucher processing (BPV, CPV, BRV, JV) and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, documentation standards, and internal control practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict reporting and financial closing deadlines.
- High integrity, discretion, and willingness to commute regularly between the Gulberg III office and the Raiwind Road construction site.

The position is full-time and requires in-person attendance. The monthly salary range is Rs120,000 to Rs150,000.
