MMTI Ltd, a London-based general practice, provides a comprehensive range of accountancy and tax services primarily to owner-managed businesses across the UK. We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team on-site in Multan. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and finalising financial statements, analysing financial data, maintaining accurate records, managing accounting transactions, and liaising with clients to resolve queries. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, including FRS 105 and 102 1A, as well as regulatory requirements, will be a critical part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalise financial statements in accordance with Companies Act 2006 and applicable accounting standards (FRS 105 and 102 1A).
- Analyse financial data and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Liaise directly with clients to address and resolve accounting and tax-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise VAT returns, payroll, and other accounting matters as required.
- Provide advice on UK corporation tax and personal tax liabilities to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in preparing financial statements under Companies Act 2006, FRS 105, and 102 1A.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, UK corporation tax, and personal tax regulations.
- Expertise in preparing ETBs, finalising company accounts, and personal tax returns.
- Proficient in supervising VAT returns, payroll, and other related accounting functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, including IRIS, VT Transaction+, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA is mandatory; part-qualified candidates will also be considered.

- Competitive salary range of PKR 100,000 to 200,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
