We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Rawalpindi. This full-time, on-site position operates during the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial tracking, reporting, and audit preparation, playing a vital role in analyzing financial data, streamlining accounting processes, and supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations while maintaining strong internal controls over financial activities.
- Ensure the general ledger is accurate and all entries comply with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from clients.
- Administer payroll processes, guaranteeing correct tax withholdings and punctual salary disbursements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card accounts, and clearing accounts.
- Verify vendor invoices and client bills against contracts and delivery confirmations.
- Address and resolve payment discrepancies, outstanding balances, and transactional errors with precision.
- Review expense reports to maintain accurate departmental budgets and ensure compliance.
- Analyze key financial indicators such as cash flow, aging reports, and profitability margins.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data modeling, to deliver clear financial insights to management.
- Collaborate effectively with external auditors and tax consultants during compliance audits.
- Organize and prepare documentation required for corporate tax filings and financial audits.
- Work closely with internal managers to assess departmental spending, control overhead costs, and recommend efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of practical experience in full-cycle corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles, payroll systems, and statutory tax regulations.
- Proficiency in enterprise accounting software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for professional financial correspondence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, or CIMA preferred.

This role requires working on-site at our Rawalpindi office, located at Asghar Mall, Murree Road.
