Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records (bookkeeping) using various software platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, VT, Sage 50, and Excel.
- Analyze financial data employing different tools and techniques to support decision-making.
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with FRS 105 and FRS 102 disclosure requirements.
- Calculate Corporation Tax in accordance with UK tax legislation.
- Draft letters and other necessary correspondence related to financial matters.
- Submit financial statements and corporation tax returns to Companies House and HMRC.
- Prepare VAT returns following UK VAT regulations.
- Prepare individual personal income tax returns in line with UK tax laws.
- Update monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll software.

Required Qualifications

- ACCA Affiliate or Finalist status.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization performing similar duties.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and computer proficiency.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Demonstrated ethical and professional behavior in all work activities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within a UK-based firm is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
