We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for multiple US-based clients, primarily in the construction industry. This fully remote position requires a candidate with over five years of relevant experience, especially working with US clients and QuickBooks Online. Initially, the role involves hands-on accounting tasks to develop a thorough understanding of client needs and workflows. As performance is demonstrated, the position will expand to full client ownership and leadership of an accounting team. The work schedule follows US Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting cycle for several US clients, including bookkeeping reviews, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. Apply construction accounting principles such as job costing, Work in Progress (WIP) schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. Review revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and review journal entries, recurring reporting workbooks, and client deliverables. Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts, confirming that balance sheets are fully reconciled before sign-off. Track open items, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines across multiple client engagements. Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and internal leadership regarding reporting status, issues, and resolutions. Lead, train, and review the work of accountants as team assignments evolve. Continuously improve accounting processes, documentation, and reporting checklists to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have hands-on experience working with US clients and practical knowledge of QuickBooks Online. Expertise in construction accounting, including job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, is essential. Public accounting experience is required. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CA (qualified or finalist) are mandatory. A strong understanding of US finance and accounting standards is necessary. Proven ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously and experience in leading or reviewing the work of other accountants are critical. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, structured workbooks, and data validation, is expected. Fluency in written and spoken English, strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and consistent deadline management are also required. Candidates must be available to work the specified EST shift from Monday to Friday.

Compensation and Work Schedule
The salary ranges from USD $1,200 to $1,350 per month, paid twice monthly—50% in the first half of the month and the remaining 50% in the second half. This is a fully remote role with working hours aligned to US Eastern Standard Time.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a senior accounting professional to engage with US construction clients, develop leadership skills, and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic remote work environment.
